Louise Kirkegaard is a photographer and dramaturge living and working in Denmark. She holds a Master of Arts from Aarhus University in dramaturgy and visual communication. The special combination of photography and theatre has always been her trademark.
And about photography, this is what she has to say: “I got into shooting black and white photographs at the after school program and liked going into the dark room to develop them. It was a really old school way of doing it, but I liked the process of fiddling with the lightness and contrast of these black and white photographs. I often create little micro cosmos in my pictures, to show how much fun and beauty we have in the world”
